Please read these Little Black Bag Terms and Conditions (“Little Black Bag Terms”) carefully before accessing or using any part of the Little Black Bag Services (as defined below). By purchasing a Little Black Bag product (defined below) or using the Little Black Bag services in any manner, you agree that you have read and agree to adhere to these Little Black Bag Terms.
The term “Services” shall include, without limitation, use of the Little Black Bag Website, purchase of a bag (as defined below) and/or subscription, including the goods and/or services included therein (each, a “Product”) and any additional goods or services Little Black Bag performs for you via the Little Black Bag Program. Little Black Bag may change, suspend or discontinue the Services at any time. Little Black Bag may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services


1. Detailed Description of Goods and/or Services:
Through the Little Black Bag program, you may purchase a subscription to receive monthly shipments of curated items and/or single purchase premium edition offerings Little Black Bag may provide from time to time (each, “Bag”). In addition, Little Black Bag may offer certain premium edition offerings, which include Gift Collection Bags that are available for stand-alone purchase. Subscriptions are available in a variety of lengths (each, a “Subscription Term”). For all Subscriptions ordered before the 1st of each calendar month, Little Black Bag expects to ship bags prior to or on the 15th of each calendar month, or the following business day if the projected shipment date is a weekend holiday. If you order a Subscription after the 1st of any given calendar month, you will only receive the next month’s shipment. If you have chosen a monthly recurring Subscription type (“Month-to-Month Subscription”), for your first month Little Black Bag will charge you the relevant monthly Subscription fee at of sign-up. For each subsequent month, you will be charged when your order is being processed, which is by the 28th of the month. If you have chosen a Subscription of longer than one month (“Long-term Subscription”), the fee for the entire Subscription Term will be charged to you upon the sign-up of your Long-term Subscription. Subscription Term length cannot be changed until the Subscription Term is up for renewal. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive periods, at the then-current subscription rate. Delivery Policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, all Subscriptions and Once Off purchases ordered before the 1st of each calendar month is expected to ship out on the 15th of each calendar month, or the following business day if the projected shipment date falls on a weekend or holiday. If you order a Subscription, Gift It or Once Off purchase after the 1st of any given calendar month, you will only receive the next month’s shipment.
Once the courier has received your parcel, you will receive a confirmation with tracking nr stating that your parcel will be delivered within a given number of days. Delivery days vary depending on your area.
Once your parcel goes out on delivery, you will receive another SMS from the Courier Company stating that your parcel will be delivered today between 08:00 and 17:00. The courier will make two attempts to deliver your parcel. If no one receives it by the second attempt, the parcel will return to the depot where it will be send back to our offices, after which it will only be delivered the next month with your next Little Black Bag.
Should you be unavailable or unable to accept the parcel delivered by the courier for whatever reason, after two attempts at delivery have been made, and you are no longer a subscriber, the cost of arranging alternative shipping will fall on you the customer.

3. Export Restriction
The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

4. Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Little Black Bag is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Little Black Bag will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 20% administration fee.
The contents of each Bag are curated by the staff at Little Black Bag. Unfortunately, we don’t allow returns or substitutions of anything in your Bag. If you receive a Bag with damaged or incomplete contents, please contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within two (2) weeks following shipment of your Bag. If you receive a Bag with damaged contents you will need to include photographic evidence documenting the damaged product in order to receive a replacement product. Should Little Black Bag decide to honor a return as determined in its sole discretion, the amount you paid for your preferred shipping method will be deducted from your refund amount. All refunds are issued in the original form of payment for all purchases.

5. Customer Privacy policy
Little Black Bag shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 6. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or by bank transfer into the Little Black Bag bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. 7. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Little Black Bag via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

8. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by (Your Company) separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR)

10. Responsibility
Little Black Bag takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support and dispute resolution. Bags are shipped by a third party carrier. As a result, title and risk of loss for a Bag will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Product specifications and other information have either been provided by the vendors or collected from publicly available sources. While Little Black Bag makes every effort to ensure that the information on the Little Black Bag website and/or contained in your Bag is accurate, we can make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy or reliability of any information provided on the Little Black Bag website and/or contained in your Bag.
 Little Black Bag makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with regard to any product provided or offered by any vendor, and you acknowledge that any reliance on representations and warranties provided by any vendor shall be at your own risk. Moreover, Little Black Bag disclaims any responsibility in connection with your use of the contents contained in each Bag, any and all such use shall be at your own risk.

11. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Little Black Bag chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Somerset West, Western Cape, South Africa.

12. Variation
Little Black Bag may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
Little Black Bag reserves the right to change the prices and available Subscriptions at any time, upon notice to you, provided that any Subscription you have already paid for as of the date of such notice will not be affected by such change for the then-current Subscription Term. For of doubt, the Subscription Term of a Month-to-Month Subscription is one (1) month. Prices displayed on the Services are quoted in R.S.A currency and are valid only in the Republic of South Africa.
Little Black Bag may limit quantities of or cancel Subscriptions purchased, and we reserve the right to refuse any order. In the event Little Black Bag needs to change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information you provided at the time the order was made. 13. Payment details.
Little Black Bag will charge the relevant fees for your chosen Subscription(s) to the payment method that you provide to us. If the credit card information you have provided is incorrect or incomplete, or Little Black Bag is unable to complete a transaction due to your error or omission, we will attempt to contact you and inform you of the problem; failure to provide accurate and complete shipping and billing information may result in the delay or cancellation of your Subscription or a particular delivery. Subscriptions may only be canceled as expressly set forth in Section 14 below. 13.1 Deductions
All signups close by the last day of the month. If you sign up between the 1st and the 31st of the month, you will receive the following bag. Your first deduction will be upon signup, thereafter on the 28th of the following month and every month thereafter on the 28th until cancellation. Bags are dispatched by the 15th of every month and depending on the courier service, you should be receiving it by the 25th, like Christmas every month! 14.  Cancellations.
At the end of a Subscription Term, your Subscription will automatically renew for additional one-month Subscription Term(s), unless you email your cancellation request to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before the 21st of the month, 8 days prior to the automated deduction on the 28th of the Month (“Notice Period”).
Our service meets logistic needs dictated by packaging and shipping requirements. Cancellation of a bag should be made before the 21st of the month. If you fail to cancel your subscription before the 21st of the month, you will receive the next bag. If you cancel your subscription before the 21st of the month, your cancellation will be taken into account and you will not be receiving the next bag.
14.1 Once Off purchases and Gift It Subscriptions
If you have purchased a Once-Off LBB or a one-month Subscription as a gift and have designated it as such as allowed by our payment process (a “Gift it Subscription”), such Gift Subscription will automatically terminate at the end of its initial Subscription Term

15.  Promotions
Little Black Bag may, from time to time in its sole discretion, offer certain promotional codes for discounts. Promotion codes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash, credit, or toward previous purchases. There is no cash alternative. Furthermore, promotion codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotional and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided. Promotion codes cannot be applied to certain Little Black Bag premium edition offerings that Little Black Bag may provide from time to time in its sole discretion. Lost promotion codes cannot be replaced. Limit one promotion code per customer and only applicable to the first transaction. Such promotion codes will not be applied to subsequent automatically renewed transactions. Promotion codes are void where prohibited. Any promotional program may be terminated or modified by Little Black Bag at any time in its sole discretion.
